Choreographers are assigned based on best fit, availability, and mutual interest between both dancer and choreographer.

No matter which choreographer is assigned your project, your individual project, our entire teaching staff works together to ensure every project is successful.

Soloists must devote more hours and greater focus to their dance education than recreational dancers to ensure the success of their stage performances.

For each class, solo dancers should arrive on time, wear appropriate attire, and be ready to learn.

Your choreographer will take the lead on picking the music and concept that best fits your dancer. Sometimes it will be a familiar sounding song that leans into their strengths; other years it may be a song that pushes them outside their comfort zone.

Every concept also goes through an approval stage by our competition director to ensure age appropriateness, novelty, and a general fit for your dancer.

Your choreographer takes the lead on costume, hair, and makeup to best fit the concept and music.

This frees up you and your child to be able to fully focus on dancing.

Age-appropriate concept, choreography, and attire is of absolute priority. We work closely with our teaching team to ensure every routine firmly clears our standards in this respect.

General time blocks for competition are publicized as part of our studio calendar.

Specific performance times are released by competition companies ~ a week before competition. When we receive this info, we share this with dancers and families ASAP. The studio does not have any control over competition scheduling.

• Minis ​(under 9) must c​ompete in 2+ group dances to be eligible for a solo/duet/trio

• ​Company Members (Juniors, Teens, Seniors on the competition team) must ​c​ompete in ​3​+ ​group dances to be eligible for a solo. 

Catalog costumes: These are standard pre-made costumes from our designated selection of catalogs. Pricing for catalog costumes is a flat fee.

2. Custom costumes: This involves the creation of a one-of-a-kind costume specifically for the dancer and piece. Pricing for custom costumes depends on the complexity of the piece.
