The Little Dance World was founded in 1995 and was formally established in Hacienda Heights in 1999 to provide nurturing schooling while fostering creativity. Throughout the years, invitations to programs and community charity events thrived while its students rivaled in mainstream competitions such as Showstopper, Showbiz, Star Power and etc., taking home platinum and gold medals. Now we have another new exciting addition: RAD ballet exams that will start spring 2015. Growing with distinguished competitions and annual performances, Jennifer Tai further commits her students to multi facets of cultural exchange programs. Their ethnic performance during annual Chinese New Year events at Claremont, Hacienda Heights, Walnut, Rosemead and El Monte Libraries narrate stories of Taiwanese and Chinese culture. In summer 2004, Jennifer Tai pioneered an opportunity that successfully allowed students to experience their first of many educational exchanges with the theatrical institute of Taiwan.
The ballet classes are based on the Royal Academy of Dancing Syllabus. RAD offers an internationally recognized portfolio of examinations and assessments which are designed to motivate and encourage students of all ages and levels of ability, through systematic measurement of progress and attainment. Examinations are organized and administered by RAD Examination Board. Students may start with the Pre-Primary and Primary level, and then into eight Graded Levels, or six Vocational Levels.
